Nearly 25,000 residences in south-east Queensland woke up without power on Monday morning after intense storm systems impacted the state, producing powerful gusts hitting over 100 km/h.
Massive Hailstones and Broad Destruction

Meteorological Predictions
Damp conditions were forecast to persist along large portions of Queensland's east this coming days as a weather pattern continued to draw in moisture against the shoreline.
The following day was forecast to be the most rainy day, with ongoing severe weather risk predicted across multiple regions of both states.

Health officials alerted that there was an greater possibility of weather-related respiratory issues across the northern rural areas, especially given the ongoing climate situation.
